Ajith Varghese is a two-time national award-winning educator and practitioner specializing in spiritual care and psychospiritual therapy. He Manages the Spiritual and Religious Care Department and is the Clinical Supervisor-Educator for professional spiritual care at the Scarborough Health Network.

Ajith has trained at prestigious national and international institutions, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. His professional journey includes significant milestones, such as obtaining dual certification in Clinical Psychospiritual Education and Psychospiritual Therapy Education from the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) in 2010.

 Since 2001, Ajith has been dedicated to his work, beginning as a psychospiritual therapy intern in a clinical setting for substance addiction. Over the years, he has served as a Psychospiritual Therapist and Spiritual Care Practitioner in various multicultural and multifaith clinical environments. His strong belief in and advocacy for culturally sensitive spiritual care reflects his commitment to providing care that respects and values cultural differences.

Ajith is also an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Canada.

Ajith enjoys cooking and photography outside his professional endeavours—two hobbies that allow him to express his creativity and passion.
