Dwight Biggs is the Leader of Spiritual Care Services and Certified Educator-Supervisor at Royal Victoria Hospital
Dwight Biggs, M.Div, D.Min, is a Certified Supervisor Educator (CASC) and Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO). He has been the Leader of Spiritual Care at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie since the fall of 2017. His role at RVH is to develop a centre of spiritual care excellence, which involves building a strong Supervised Pastoral Education program to train spiritual care providers while also supporting staff, patients and families. Previously, Dwight was the Manager of Spiritual Care for the hospitals in Grey and Bruce Counties, Ontario. He has also been a course instructor for courses in psychotherapy and spiritual care at Martin Luther University College, Wilfrid Laurier University, and is Adjunct Faculty with Knox College at the Toronto School of Theology. Dwight began his journey in spiritual care as an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, serving parishes in Stratford, Milverton and Port Elgin, Ontario.
