Bob Tees, MA, M Div., RP – Certified Spiritual Care Educator and Practitioner

Bob Tees MA, MDiv, Registered Psychotherapist, is a Certified Supervisor-Educator with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care.   He currently works at McMaster Children’s Hospital and is Practice Lead for Hamilton Health Sciences Psycho-Spiritual Care.  He served as a Spiritual Care Educator for St Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton in 2023.   For the past several years, Bob worked as Psychosocial Spiritual Clinician for the Hamilton Palliative Care Outreach Team, Home and Community Care.  Prior to this tenure in home care, Bob served as a clinician and educator with Niagara Health 2014-19.  At Brantford General 2005-14, Bob worked as a staff chaplain and completed Provisional Supervisor training, partnering with St Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener.  He has also worked with St Joseph’s Villa Long Term Care in Dundas and with Mission Services of Hamilton, supporting homeless men in addiction recovery.  Bob is has special interest in integrating music and poetry in spiritual care.
