Brian Walsh, M.Phil, RP
Brian Walsh is a CASC Certified Spiritual Care Provider and Certified Supervisor-Educator working at the Sinai Health. Before coming to Sinai, Brian worked and taught at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health for ten years; and before that he worked at the University Health Network and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in many different clinical environments, including Trauma/Emerg., Intensive Care, General Medicine, General Surgery, Oncology, Nephrology, Palliative Care, and Mental Health.
Brian is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) and has a background in World Religions and Celtic Studies which continues to inform his approach to diversity and how people individually and collectively make meaning. Along with his hospital work, Brian is adjunct faculty at Emmanuel College, UofT, and a Chaplain with UofT’s Campus Chaplains’ Association. Brian also moonlights as a professional storyteller, specializing in stories from Irish mythology and folklore.
