Heather first joined St. Joseph’s Health Care London in 2012 and has provided care at many of St. Joseph’s various sites. At present, Heather offers spiritual care to the staff, patients and their families within the many out-patient programs and surgical clinics at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Heather is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) and is ordained with the Presbyterian Church in Canada.  She holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Knox College, and an undergraduate in Psychology and Religious Studies from McMaster University. Her research interestes include spiritual care and psychotherapy, the lasting impact of SPE education for students, and spiritual care within the out-patient context.
